The General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman on Sunday commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for promising to create 200,000 jobs just as be emphasized the need for human capital welfare and development.
The Cleric who hosted Governor Godwin Obaseki during Sunday Service in his church, Auchi noted that the physical infrastructure development in the state should form part of the change mantra adding that when God chooses a man, he has to choose the right team with which he would work.
While stressing that Governor Godwin Obaseki should demonstrate leadership by carrying everybody along whether they voted for him or not, Apostle Suleiman also enjoined the people to stop asking politicians for money rather development.
Earlier, Governor Obaseki who was accompanied by his wife Betsy Obaseki, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Philip Shaibu, the Chief of Staff, Mr. Taiwo Akerele among other dignitaries said he he had come to thank them for their support and prayers in fulfilment of his promise during electioneering campaign that when elected, he would return to thank them.
Obaseki who assured the state civil and public service of promotion, evaluation, training and total reforms to reposition the workforce for efficient and effective service delivery said, his administration will focus on human capital building programmes that will also be carried out alongside his campaign promise of job creation for the unemployed in the state particularly the youths and women.
While thanking God for what he has been doing in the state, Governor Obaseki also urged them to sustain their support and prayers, pointing out that the administration counts on them.
